One of the most popular ETFs in 2021 is Cathie Wood’s Ark Innovation ETF (ARKK). ARKK invests in several of the most popular tech-related stocks like Tesla (TSLA) and Square (SQ). The ETF had done quite well until a recent bout of selling. On a big market down day last week, ARKK traded 7x the normal number of options. While the majority of trades were done in ARKK puts, at least one big call trade involved buying covered calls using options that don’t expire until next January.
