Roundhill has announced the first weekly dividend for the renamed WPAY, which now goes by the symbol TOPW. The dividend shown below gives a current yield of about 35%.

March 20, 2026 - 1:18 pm
The WPAY ETF will change to a new title and stock symbol on Monday. This will happen automatically in your brokerage account. Here is some info about the change from Roundhill.
We are pleased to share an important update regarding upcoming enhancements to the Roundhill WeeklyPay™ Universe ETF (WPAY).
As part of our continued commitment to refining our product lineup, WPAY will adopt a focused investment approach. Starting on March 20, WPAY will invest exclusively in WeeklyPay™ ETFs tied to the 25 largest U.S. companies by market capitalization.
We believe concentrating in America’s largest and most influential companies may position the Fund for improved NAV stability and less volatile distributions.
In addition:
● The Fund will transition from equal-weight to a modified market-cap weighting approach.
● The rebalance schedule will shift from monthly to quarterly.
To reflect this refined strategy, the Fund will be renamed to the Roundhill Top WeeklyPay™ ETF including a brand-new ticker: TOPW.
These changes will take effect following the final monthly rebalance on March 20.

March 3, 2026 - 9:37 am
We are swapping out our GDX tracking ETFs. GDX is the gold mining stocks ETF. Here is the trade:
- Sell the YieldMax Gold Miners Option Income Strategy ETF (GDXY)
- Buy the Roundhill Gold Miners WeeklyPay ETF (GDXW)
Over recent months, GDXW has outperformed GDXY. GDXW pays weekly on Tuesdays
I repeat, we are selling GDXY and replacing it with GDXW
February 12, 2026 - 2:02 pm
We are adding a new ETF to the ETF Income Edge portfolio. The new fund is the YieldMax Target 12 Semiconductor Option Income ETF (SOXY).
SOXY tracks the SOX semiconductor index (SOXX is the tracking ETF). Semiconductors are the one tech subsector that has performed well over the last three months. Most of the tech sector is flat to down over that period.
SOXY has a three-month total return of 20.1%. Let’s hope the trend continues.
SOXY is managed to pay a 12% yield. Dividends are paid monthly. This ETF should produce share price appreciation.
Recommendation: Buy SOXY for your ETF Income Edge holdings.
February 11, 2026 - 10:50 am

February 10, 2026 - 10:02 am
- This trade alert is a sell recommendation for YBTC
The price of Bitcoin is stuck in a $ 60k-$ 70k range. It is impossible to predict whether the next move will be higher or lower.
At this time, we have decided to sell YBTC and stay out of the ETF for at least 30 days, so the losses will be eligible for tax-deductible losses when we file 2026 taxes. We will be willing to re-enter YBTC when Bitcoin shows a sustained positive trend. I believe it will happen, but the timing is impossible to predict, and it doesn’t appear to be something that will happen soon.
- This a trade alert to sell YBTC
We still have BITY in the ETF Income Edge portfolio for some cryptocurrency exposure. W expect to have an ETF recommendation to replace YBTC by the end of this week.
February 3, 2026 - 10:02 am
The frustration with the Roundhill Ether Covered Call Strategy ETF (YETH) has become too great to continue to put up with this ETF. Ether the underlying asset made a nice positive run in the middle of 2025, but it has been downhill since. Ether is off 37% over the last six months.
Today I recommend selling YETH. For cryptocurrencies we will stick with the two Bitcoin funds. I think Bitcoin will make its next run higher long before ether does, if ether ever does.
Recommendation: Sell YETH
We are not adding a replacement ETF at this time.
January 15, 2026 - 10:11 am
Let’s make a change to the EIE portfolio. Selling one ETF and replacing it.
SELL: Roundhill S&P 500 0DTE Covered Call Strategy ETF (XDTE)
BUY: TappAlpha SPY Growth & Daily Income ETF (TSPY)
Both are 0DTE ETFs using SPY as the underlying asset. When I compared the two yesterday I saw that TSPY has a much more stable share price. See the graph below.
TSPY has a current yield of 14.2% and the next dividend will pay on February 4. You may want to wait another week to earn another XDTE dividend before you make the trade.

January 8, 2026 - 1:10 pm
It’s early in the month but we want to make sure you put Friday, January 23rd on your calendar as we’re hosting a live webinar with Howard Chan of Kurv Capital Management. The webinar starts at 4:30 p.m. eastern.
We hold two Kurv funds in the ETF Income Edge portfolio: KYLD and KSLV.
Howard will discuss how the funds can help provide income-oriented exposure in volatile markets. He’ll cover KYLD’s approach to high weekly income with potential upside participation, and KSLV’s combination of silver exposure, income, and tax-efficiency considerations. The conversation will focus on product objectives and portfolio context.
As with all of our live webinars there will be a live Q&A portion for you to ask questions.
The Zoom link to attend is https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81501600992
Be sure to mark January 23rd on your calendar and hold on to the link.

December 2, 2025 - 11:40 am
ETF Income Edge trade alert!
We are selling one ETF out of the portfolio and adding a new one. Here are the trades:
Sell: YieldMax Universe Fund of Option Income ETFs (YMAX)
Buy: Simplify Ancorato Target 25 Distribution ETF (XXV)
Note: After this trade will will have both Simplify ETFs, XV and XXV in the portfolio.
November 13, 2025 - 9:31 am
We are adding a new ETF to the ETF Income Edge portfolio. This is an addition, and not replacing one of the current holdings. The portfolio now holds 15 ETFs.
The new ETF is the Kurv High Income ETF (KYLD).
This is the first Kurv ETF to pay weekly dividends. It launched on October 30. Based on one dividend paid, the initial yield is about 35%.
October 28, 2025 - 1:27 pm
We are going to swap silver ETFs in the ETF Income Edge portfolio. Here are the trades:
- Sell: UBS ETRACS Silver Shares Covered Call ETN (SLVO)
- Buy: Kurv Silver Enhanced Income ETF (KSLV)
KSLV is a new fund from Kurv that launched on September 29. Based on the October dividend, this ETF yields about 25%. Dividends will be paid monthly.
At this time I plan to keep KSLV exclusive to ETF Income Edge.
September 25, 2025 - 9:59 am
YGLD is ex-dividend today for a $ 1.00 dividend to be paid on 9/30. Nice!
September 10, 2025 - 11:29 am
This is an ETF Income Edge actual trade alert. We are selling one ETF out of the portfolio and adding one to replace it.
- Sell: VistaShares Target 15 Berkshire Select Income ETF (OMAH)
- Buy: Roundhill WeeklyPay Universe ETF (WPAY)
WPAY launched last week, but there have been WeeklyPay single stock ETFs in the market for several months. WPAY pays weekly on Wednesdays. The first dividend will be paid on September 17.
September 2, 2025 - 9:27 am
We are dropping the ProShares S&P 500 High Income ETF (ISPY) from the ETF Income Edge portfolio. This ETF has been paying very small dividends for the past few months and the just declared September payout of $ 0.158786 per share gives a distribution yield of just 4.4%. ISPY goes ex-dividend today and will pay on September 8.
I repeat, we are selling ISPY out of the portfolio.
It will be replaced by the YieldMax AI & Tech Portfolio Option Income ETF (GPTY). This ETF has a distribution yield of 34.25%. Dividends are paid weekly on Fridays, with ex-dividend on Thursdays.
I was reviewing returns of AI focused covered call ETFs and the GPTY results stuck out in a very positive way.
One more time: Sell ISPY, buy GPTY
August 13, 2025 - 10:13 am
Continuing with our monthly check to earn the biggest dividend from either USOI or SLVO, we are swapping shares this month. Here are the dividends to be paid:

Note the ex-dividend date is August 20, so you have until next Tuesday, 9/19, to make the trade. We are selling USOI and putting the proceeds into SLVO.
In my personal ETF Income Edge account, I am buying or selling shares to keep the positions at a set dollar amount. Since USOI has declined since we bought it, I will add some cash to bring the SLVO position up to my target position size.
August 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm
Hey all, we’ve got about an hour to go until the YieldMax webinar with Jay Pestrichelli. Also, we have a surprise guest: Mike Khouw, who’s a regular on CNBC. It’s going to be a great webinar, so come join us!

August 4, 2025 - 10:18 am
In today’s mailbag video for ETF Income Edge I had several questions as to when YGLD will start paying monthly dividends. My contact at Simplify ETFs shared this today:
We are switching the distribution frequency after the prospectus filing at the end of October. Hence, we are aiming for a November/ December start.
July 14, 2025 - 3:03 pm
We are selling one ETF out of the ETF Income Edge portfolio and adding one.
SELL: YieldMax S&P 500 0DTE Covered Call Strategy ETF (SDTY)
BUY: Simplify Gold Strategy PLUS Income ETF (YGLD)
We will discuss these trades during this afternoon’s live webinar.
July 1, 2025 - 11:41 am
If you missed the news I shared, YETH will start paying weekly dividends on Thursday, July 3. Roundhill just announced divs for the week and YETH will be a massive $ 1.52 per share!
June 26, 2025 - 9:44 am
Roundhill Investments is changing some dividend dates starting in July.
The big news is that YETH will start paying weekly. The first weekly dividend will be paid July 3. There will not be an end of June dividend from YETH.
The crypto ETFs, YBTC and YETH will paid dividends on Thursdays.
The 0DTE ETFs, QDTE and XDTE will continue to pay on Fridays.
The Magnificent 7 ETF, MAGY will pay on Mondays.
June 16, 2025 - 2:03 pm
Great news! YETH will go to weekly pay dividends in July. Roundhill has changed up some of their weekly payment dates, so we will get dividends from them on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Also, WEEK is a nifty T-bill fund (think 4.1% yield) that is a nice alternative to money market mutual funds. We are working to have the folks from Roundhill join us on a couple of subscriber webinars.
June 9, 2025 - 10:21 am
Two new ETFs were added last week to the ETF Income Edge portfolio. I pulled out my trusty calculator and am pleased to announced the average yield of the 14 ETFs is 33%.
June 5, 2025 - 10:09 am
UBS has released the June dividends for the ETRACS Silver Shares Covered Call ETNs (SLVO) and ETRACS Crude Oil Shares Covered Call ETNs (USOI).
On an equal dollar-sized position, the USOI dividend will be 120% larger than that of SLVO. Yes, 120% more dividend income!
We have been in SLVO since March, have earned three nice dividends, and are at breakeven on the share price. It’s been an excellent transaction.
Crude oil has been trending higher for the last month. With WTI oil in the low s, there is limited downside risk and good potential for gains.
The ETNs go ex-dividend on June 20 with payment on June 25. To earn the USOI dividend, you must complete the exchange by June 19. Just get it done this week.
· Recommendation: Sell SLVO and use the proceeds to buy USOI by June 19, at the latest. You can make the trade at any time.

June 3, 2025 - 1:44 pm
We are adding a new ETF to the ETF Income Edge portfolio. This is a new addition, and is not replacing any of the current ETFs. The new ETF is the:
Roundhill’s Magnificent Seven Covered Call ETF (MAGY)
MAGY paid its first dividend at the end of May, and has a current distribution yield of 25% I will have MAGY posted soon to the portfolio. Go ahead and start accumulating shares.
May 19, 2025 - 3:52 pm
We are adding two new ETFs to the ETF Income Edge portfolio. These will replace two we already have. Here are the trades:
BUY:
- Simplify Target 15 Distribution ETF (XV)
- Amplify Bitcoin 24% Premium Income ETF (BITY)
We are SELLING:
- Hull Tactical US ETF HTUS)
- Simplify Gold Strategy PLUS Income ETF (YGLD)
Our monthly live webinar is tomorrow (Tuesday, 5/20) at 5:30 Eastern. We will go over these trades on the webinar.
April 24, 2025 - 1:50 pm
We are adding a new ETF to the ETF Income Edge portfolio. The fund is the VistaShares Target 15 Berkshire Select Income ETF (OMAH).
This ETF uses Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway’s largest holdings as the portfolio positions and call options will be written on BRK.B and the other portfolio holdings. The fund pays monthly dividends and is targeting a 15% annual yield. The fund launched on March 5, 2025.
OMAH goes ex-dividend on Monday, April 28.
April 15, 2025 - 10:28 am
We added the KraneShares KWEB Covered Call Strategy ETF (KLIP) to the ETF Income Edge portfolio in March, before a full blown trade war broke out between the U.S. and China. I don’t want to have exposure to Chinese markets in this environment, so this is a recommendation to sell your shares of KLIP.
- This trade alert is a SELL alert for KLIP>
April 9, 2025 - 9:30 am

April 3, 2025 - 10:04 am
A note and a trade:
The markets are throwing a tariff tantrum. I am shocked that even gold is down per ounce. Cryptocurrencies seem to be the only asset class holding up. This type of market produces higher volatility which means bigger dividends from our option strategy ETFs. At this point, I am comfortable letting our dividends go to the cash balance. There will be plenty of time to put that money to work after the investing world settles down. However, if you have new money to invest, it would hurt to buy a few high-yield shares to keep that cash flow growing.
Here is the trade:
Sell: FT Vest Gold Strategy Target Income ETF (IGLD)
Buy: YieldMax Gold Miners Option Income Strategy ETF (GDXY)
This trade retains our exposure to gold with a much higher dividend coming from GDXY.
March 26, 2025 - 9:36 am
We are selling one fund out of the ETF Income Edge portfolio and adding one.
- SELL: Roundhill Small Cap 0DTE Covered Call Strategy ETF (RDTE). Small cap stocks have lagged the broader market, and RDTE has underperformed its siblings QDTE and XDTE.
- BUY: KraneShares KWEB Covered Call Strategy ETF (KLIP). International stocks, including China stocks, are outperforming this year. KLIP has gained 8.08% year-to-day. The ETF pays monthly dividends and yields 25.5%.
March 13, 2025 - 10:50 am
UBS has published the March dividends for SLVO and USOI. Here they are:
On the same dollar amount the SLVO will be 270% larger than that amount invested in USOI. So we will sell USOI and use the proceeds to buy SLVO.
I know that USOI has dropped from the $ 65.60 we paid in November. The share price has followed down the price of oil. And now USOI will pay a relatively tiny dividend. SLVO has been stable for the last six months, so the exchange will also get us away from the falling price of oil and USOI.
You must make the trade BEFORE the March 20 ex-dividend date. With the downward trend in oil, sooner is probably better than later.

Cryptocurrency prices, Bitcoin and Ether, are down a lot today. These securities can be very volatile, but the trend should stay positive. Down days like this are a good opportunity to add a few shares of YBTC and YETH.
February 24, 2025 - 3:54 pm
ETF Income Edge trade for tomorrow.
After our discussion during last week’s live webinar, it is time to put the Simplify Bitcoin Strategy PLUS Income ETF (MAXI) on the shelf for at least half the year. We will discuss it more during upcoming sessions.
To replace MAXI, we are adding Simplify Gold Strategy PLUS Income ETF (YGLD) to the portfolio. This ETF, with GLD as the underlying asset, gives 150% exposure to the price of gold and will pay dividends from an options selling strategy. I don’t expect a lot in dividends, and YGLD pays quarterly. I am excited about getting additional gains as gold moves higher, which I believe it will.
- Recommendation: Sell MAXI and use the proceeds to buy YGLD.
February 13, 2025 - 10:08 am
New ETF for the ETF Income Edge portfolio:
We are adding the YieldMax S&P 500 0DTE Covered Call Strategy ETF (SDTY) to the portfolio. SDTY launched on February 10, so has not yet declared or paid a dividend. This ETF employs the same strategy as QDTE an will also pay weekly dividends. Having both in the portfolio let’s us compare the results on nearly identical funds from Roundhill and YieldMax.
February 5, 2025 - 12:19 pm
The replay of Monday’s live presentation with Jay Pestrichelli from YieldMax has been posted. You can watch it here: https://www.investorsalley.com/etf-income-edge-videos/
February 3, 2025 - 11:26 am
The cryptocurrency Ether/Etherium is down 5.6% today. Our Roundhill Ether Covered Call Strategy ETF (YETH) is off double that, down 12%. Let’s take this opportunity to add a few shares of YETH.
January 27, 2025 - 5:23 pm
Save the Date!
We’re going to have Jay Pestrichelli, the Chief Trading Officer of YieldMax, back next week doing a live Q&A with us. Set a reminder for Monday, February 3rd at 5pm ET (replay will be available).
Here’s the Zoom link (but we’ll send out an email reminder or two as well):

January 27, 2025 - 9:37 am
In my opinion, the Deepstink AI kerfuffle doesn’t pass the smell test. I think today would be a good day to pick up a few shares of AIPI.
January 21, 2025 - 10:30 am
Ethereum is trading down 1.8% today. The Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust ETF (ETH) is down 6.5% and our ETF Income Edge fund, the Roundhill Ether Covered Call Strategy ETF (YETH) is off 5.4%. The ETFs don’t seem to be tracking the designated cryptocurrency. Let’s use this drop and the apparent mispricing to add a few shares to our YETH positions.
January 13, 2025 - 11:21 am
Better late than Never. On December 30, I recommended to Dividend Hunter subscribers that we sell SVOL. I haven’t yet done that for ETF Income Edge. I initially wanted to find a replacement ETF before recommending that we sell SVOL. Let’s get it our of our accounts now and I will add new ETFs as I find good opportunities.
I get a lot of notes about ULTY, and I have been too stubborn staying with this ETF. Today I am recommending that we also sell ULTY.
As noted above, I am not adding any new ETFs at this time. You can use the cash to add shares of existing ETFs on the portfolio. The recent drop in the markets gives us an opportunity to average down. With falling share prices, volatility and thus covered call dividends should be higher while the market goes through whatever this is that is happening now.
Looking at the total returns from ULTY and SVOL, they are both close to breakeven since they were included in the initial ETF Income Edge portfolio. Of course, we want to do better than breakeven!

January 3, 2025 - 11:33 am
The big ($ 6.7772 per share) year-end distribution from HTUS hit our accounts yesterday. I suggest you use that cash to buy more shares of HTUS to keep the position relatively sized.
December 30, 2024 - 11:53 am
Two dividends from YBTC this week. Tomorrow (12/31) YBTC will pay its final monthly dividend of $ 1.632167 per share. Also tomorrow, the folks at Roundhill Investments will announce the first weekly dividend, with ex-dividend on January 2, with payment on January 3.
December 30, 2024 - 10:26 am
A couple of ETF Income Edge items of note. I recommended selling SVOL to my Dividend Hunter subscribers. For now it will remain on the ETF Income Edge portfolio. For now.
ETFs must pay out all realized gains and income as distributions before the end of the year. On Friday, HTUS went ex-dividend for a big payout. A $ 6.78 per share distribution will be paid on January 2. I plan to use mine to buy more shares of HTUS.
December 27, 2024 - 8:35 am
We are adding another ETF to the ETF Income Edge portfolio. The fund is the REX AI Equity Premium Income ETF (AIPI). AIPI pays monthly dividends during the last week of each month. As of the last dividend, AIPI yields 34.8%.
December 23, 2024 - 11:03 am
From the recent high of $ 108,000, Bitcoin has pulled back to currently trade at $ 93,000. As a result the share prices of YBTC and MAXI have also dropped. Volatility from Bitcoin gives us opportunities to build up holdings in the high yield ETFs. YBTC currently yields 40%, and MAXI has a 78% distribution rate. Let’s use the current downturn by the cryptocurrency to add a few shares to our YBTC and MAXI holdings.
December 13, 2024 - 12:04 pm
YBTC is going to weekly dividends starting in January. Ex-dividend will be on Thursdays with payment on Fridays. We love weekly dividends!
December 4, 2024 - 4:29 pm
We are replacing one of the ETFs in the ETF Income Edge portfolio. Here are the trades:
- Sell FEPI
- Buy: YieldMax Universe Fund of Option Income ETFs (YMAX)
Since it launched on January 16, YMAX has outperformed FEPI 33% to 19% in total return. We are making this trade to ride what should be continued outperformance. Note that YMAX pays weekly dividends.
December 4, 2024 - 9:12 am
We are adding a new ETF to the ETF Income Edge portfolio. The fund is the Roundhill Ether Covered Call Strategy ETF (YETH). This ETF is the sister fund to YBTC, which has done well for us. YETH is officially in the portfolio today.
December 2, 2024 - 11:45 am
You might have noticed that the FT Cboe Vest Gold Strategy Target Income ETF (IGLD) opened today $ 2.46 lower than the Friday closing price.
Today the ETF declared and went ex-dividend a $ 2.40 per share dividend that will be paid tomorrow. It looks to be a year-end distribution of realized profits. Nice!
November 11, 2024 - 10:07 am
This is the second ETF Income Edge trade alert today. Earlier I added a new ETF to the recommended portfolio.
As with the Dividend Hunter, this month we want to sell SLVO and use the proceeds to buy USOI. The trade will earn us a 60% bigger dividend compared to keeping SLVO. The ETFs go ex-dividend on Nov 20, so make sure you do the trade this week.
November 11, 2024 - 8:34 am
I am adding the Simplify Bitcoin Strategy PLUS Income ETF (MAXI) to the ETF Income Edge portfolio. I am a little late to the party on this as Bitcoin has zoomed higher since the election. Of course Bitcoin can continue to post gains. I recommend starting with a small position in MAXI, and be ready to add shares if Bitcoin gives up some of its recent gains.
The ETF has a 51% yield and pays monthly dividends near the end of each month.
I wrote an article about MAXI that you can read here: https://www.investorsalley.com/the-etf-delivering-unmatched-returns-and-income-why-investors-are-flocking-to-maxi-plaehn/
October 15, 2024 - 4:36 pm
It doesn’t appear that an email went out for the ETF Income Edge webinar. We just started, so if you want to join us, here’s the link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87088383777
October 8, 2024 - 4:01 pm
The two weekly dividend ETFs, symbols QDTE and XDTE have performed will for us. The company just launched a third weekly dividend ETF with the Russel 2000 small cap index as the underlying asset.
I am now adding the Small Cap 0DTE Covered Call Strategy ETF (RDTE) to the ETF Income Edge portfolio.
October 8, 2024 - 10:08 am
The October dividends for USOI and SLVO have been posted. We will be selling USOI and buying SLVO before the Oct. 22 ex-dividend date. This trade will produce a 90% larger dividend compared to keeping USOI. You have about 2 weeks to place the trade, but I suggest not pushing it to close to the ex-dividend date.

September 24, 2024 - 11:29 am
We are adding another fund to the ETF Income Edge portfolio. It is the FT Vest Gold Strategy Target Income ETF (IGLD).
IGLD employs a synthetic long position in GLD and sells calls against a portion of the long position. Currently about 40% of the portfolio is covered by short call options and 60% is uncovered. This means IGLD will pick up 60% of any gains in the price of gold. The call option selling gives the ETF a current distribution yield of 7.8%. The monthly dividends are pretty consistent.
With an investment in IGLD the primary goal is to participate in any gains in the price of gold. The near 8% yield pays us nicely to wait for those gains. Gold is in a strong bull market.
September 12, 2024 - 9:53 am
UBS has announced the September dividends for USOI and SLVO. This month, based on the same dollar amount, USOI will pay a 40%-plus larger dividend than will SLVO. In the ETF Income Edge Portfolio let’s sell SLVO and invest the proceeds into USOI. The shares go ex-dividend on Sept. 20 and pay on Sept. 25.
August 30, 2024 - 10:48 am
YBTC went ex-dividend yesterday (paid today) and Bitcoin is down 3% today, setting up an opportunity to add shares. If you have cash available, look to add a few shares of YBTC.
With its tie to Bitcoin, YBTC will follow the crypto swings, giving us opportunities to add when it hits a downdraft.
August 23, 2024 - 1:07 pm
Please ignore the ABNY trade unless you are in ETF Income Trader. I accidentally posted it to the wrong account. Apologies for the confusion.
August 12, 2024 - 9:32 am
Last week UBS announced the August dividends for USOI and SLVO. The SLVO payout is over 3 times the rate for USOI. Because of the massive difference in dividends to be paid, I recommend you sell USOI in your ETF Income Edge portfolio and use the proceeds to buy SLVO.
The ETNs go ex-dividend on August 21, with payment on August 27.
