Quick Clarification on Trade Alerts

Hello everyone,

I’ve received a few emails about trades from earlier this month, which made me realize I need to clarify our process again.

When I send a new trade alert, the alert is valid for that trading day only. If the stock does not trade within our recommended range that day, the trade will not be added to the portfolio. Even if it reaches the original range a day or two later, you should not enter unless I send a new alert.

If a trade does trigger and is added to the portfolio, you may enter as long as it remains marked “Buy” and is trading within the recommended range.

We will also send “No Fill” alerts when a trade does not trigger so everyone knows the trade is no longer active. However, please always use the portfolio as your primary guide. If a position is listed as an active “Buy,” you may enter within the recommended range. If it is not in the portfolio, the trade is not active.

I hope this helps clear up any confusion and makes the process easier to follow going forward.

Note on Last Week’s PL Trade

Hi everyone,

I want to follow up on the recent PL trade because I learned that at least one subscriber was able to enter at our recommended price before I issued the “no entry” alert. I want to address that in case anyone else was in the same situation.

I monitor our recommendations closely and receive alerts when a stock reaches our purchase price. In this instance, PL reached the recommended level and at least one subscriber received a fill, but my order did not trigger at the same price. Because I did not receive a fill, I believed we had not successfully entered the trade and issued the “no entry” alert.

If you were able to enter PL before that alert was issued, I apologize for the confusion. I recognize that different brokers can produce different fills, particularly when a stock briefly reaches our entry price, and I need our process to better account for that.

Moving forward, I am going to use wider “buy at or under” ranges when appropriate. This should give us more flexibility when entering trades and reduce the likelihood of a situation where some subscribers receive a fill while others do not.

I also want to make sure that if you were affected by the PL trade, you are not left wondering what to do. Please reach out to me directly so I know you are in the position and can communicate with you about it.

As I mentioned in today’s newsletter, the stocks on my buy list are all approaching earnings. Normally, I avoid opening new positions this close to an earnings announcement.

That said, this stock generated a buy signal, so I decided to share it as a bonus opportunity.

Earnings are expected next week. If the trade moves in our favor quickly, we may be able to exit before the announcement. If not, we could still be in the position when earnings are released. There’s no way to know that in advance.

No Trade Today, Opportunities Ahead

I spent the day screening for new trades and, for now, nothing meets our criteria. That is not a bad thing. It means we are staying disciplined instead of forcing setups that are not there.

That said, the work was not wasted. Several trades are setting up, and it looks like we could have a few opportunities developing into tomorrow. Stay ready and expect alerts.

On Agilysys, Inc. (AGYS), I know the pullback after yesterday’s entry is not ideal. That said, this trade still has time to develop. While we often capture quick gains in this service, there are periods where the setup requires more time to play out, sometimes up to a few weeks.

I am watching AGYS closely with a focus on risk management while continuing to screen for new opportunities to keep us moving forward.

This is a more challenging market environment, but we still closed two winners this week. We stay patient, stay selective, and let the process work.

Update on SMCI

Super Micro Computer, Inc. (SMCI) is currently trading around $ 23.91, up about 7.5% from yesterday’s close. As you know, the stock dropped sharply following news of a federal indictment related to alleged export violations. While the company continues to show strong revenue growth, the situation has raised concerns around reputation and profitability.

At this point, our focus is simply on finding a reasonable exit. Because this decline was driven by unexpected news, I am not relying on our indicator for the exit on this trade. Instead, I am monitoring price action closely each day.

Today’s move higher is encouraging. The stock appears to be stabilizing, which gives us a better opportunity to exit at a more favorable level. That said, I understand if you prefer to step aside now and reduce risk.

My plan is to continue holding for now, with a target of $ 25 or higher, as the stock appears to be finding support and may allow for a stronger exit.

Update on SMCI

Good morning,

I wanted to send a quick update on our Super Micro Computer, Inc. (SMCI) trade as the market opens today.

SMCI is down sharply in pre-market trading after news that individuals tied to the company—including a co-founder—were charged with illegally routing AI servers with Nvidia chips into China to get around U.S. export restrictions.

The company itself hasn’t been charged, but it’s enough to shake confidence.

We are not selling today. This is a headline-driven move, and what we’re seeing right now is the initial reaction.

There is certainly risk here, but these situations usually need time to be digested before things begin to stabilize. We’re going to give it time today and see how the price settles.

Why CMG Is Not in the Portfolio

Good afternoon and Happy Friday!

I received a question about why Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (CMG) is not currently in the portfolio. I outlined our process for these trades in the February 11 Wealth Acceleration Report Issue, but it’s worth reviewing again since the process is important and we often have new folks joining us.

You saw an alert for CMG on February 27 with instructions to buy at $ 36.40 or lower. After the alert was issued, the stock continued to move higher and never traded at or below that price, so the trade was not added to the portfolio.

In this service, every recommendation includes a specific entry price. That level defines both the opportunity and the risk for the setup. If the stock does not trade at or below the recommended price on the day the alert is issued, we simply let the trade go and move on to the next opportunity.

Here is a quick reminder of how the process works:

Each trade recommendation is valid only on the day it is issued, and the “buy up to” price defines the acceptable entry for that setup. If the stock does not trade at or below that level that day, we do not enter it.

The only time you may enter a past recommendation is if:
• The position is currently in the portfolio
• It is marked BUY
• It is trading at or below the original “buy up to” price

If a position is marked HOLD, that means we are managing an existing position rather than opening a new one.

If a trade does not appear in the portfolio, it means it did not meet our entry criteria, and therefore it is not a position I am actively managing. Sell signals and updates apply only to trades that were officially added to the portfolio.

You are always free to buy a stock above the recommended range if you choose. Just understand that once the entry price changes, the risk profile changes as well, and at that point it becomes a personal trade to manage.

The portfolio is designed to keep things simple. If a position is listed and marked BUY, it is actionable. If it is not there, we move on and wait for the next opportunity.

Consistency is what builds results over time, and clear rules are what make that consistency possible.

AMRC Update

Hello everyone,

I’ve received a few questions about the Ameresco (AMRC) trade and wanted to make sure everyone has the same information.

If you are currently holding AMRC, please go ahead and sell now. It should result in a gain if you purchased near my recommended entry price.

Some of you noticed that AMRC did not appear in the portfolio. That’s because the stock never traded at or below our buy-up-to price on the day of the signal. When that happens, we don’t chase the trade. We simply let it go.

That discipline is what keeps risk contained over time, even when a stock later moves higher.

Update on COKE

Hello again,

I wanted to provide some clarity on the COKE trade alerts you saw today.

First, the stock did not trade at or below our recommended entry price, so I am not counting this as an official trade or a win in the portfolio. However, I did send a close alert because I understand that some subscribers chose to enter the position above the recommended range.

Given the roughly 1.6 percent upside move we saw today, I do not recommend holding the position, and the close alert was intended to ensure that anyone who entered had clear guidance to exit.

Going forward, I will not send close alerts for trades that never traded within our recommended entry range. I made an exception today because there appeared to be some confusion, and I wanted to be sure everyone was aligned before the weekend.

A Quick Note on Trade Entries

Hi everyone, I received a great question from one of you and wanted to share the answer here, because it applies to how all of us trade together.

The question was: Is AMRC still a buy if it reaches the target price? It has been over three weeks, and I just want to make sure.

Answer: If a stock trades at or below my recommended price on the day the alert is sent, we will officially enter the trade in the portfolio.

If the stock does not trade at or below the recommended price on the alert day, we do not enter the trade, even if the stock reaches that price on a later day.

Once a trade is officially entered in the portfolio, the rules change slightly. If you missed the alert on the initial day, you may still enter the trade as long as the stock is trading at or below the stated buy up to price and I have not sent a close alert.

This approach keeps everyone aligned with the signals, prevents chasing trades, and ensures risk stays consistent across the portfolio.

Portfolio Update

If you are watching the open this morning and feeling uneasy, take a breath. What we are seeing today is a normal part of how our system works. The early phase of a trade often includes short term weakness as volatility moves through the market. It is uncomfortable, but it is also expected.

Our current open positions include EOG Resources (EOG), Build-A-Bear Workshop (BBW), and Flutter Entertainment (FLUT). Each continues to meet the conditions that triggered its original buy signal. The volatility indicator has not shifted, which means there is no change to our outlook.

We are seeing a larger decline in Flutter Entertainment (FLUT) today following a downgrade from Bank of America. The firm moved the stock to Neutral from Buy and reduced its price target to $ 250 from $ 325. While that is notable news, the indicator continues to show that the conditions for our trade remain valid. We will give this position the same time to play out that we have historically seen in similar cases.

This is exactly why we rely on data rather than emotion. Markets move fast and headlines amplify every fluctuation, but the indicator measures something deeper, the emotional extremes that create opportunity. Until that data changes, our job is to remain patient and let the process play out.

Remember, in historical testing, trades remained open for at least two weeks and sometimes as long as eight. That time frame allows price action to stabilize and sentiment to normalize. Reacting too soon means exiting before the indicator’s edge has time to work.

I will continue to monitor all open positions closely. If a new signal appears, you will hear from me immediately. For now, we stay disciplined, data driven, and focused on the system that has delivered results through countless market cycles.
