Close TCP Capital Trade

It is time to close out the open 30 Day Dividends trade recommendation for TCP Capital (Nasdaq:TCPC).

The trade was initiated on January 21 with a $16.50 target price for an 8.5% gain based on that day’s closing share price. The trade was generated by my ex-dividend to ex-dividend price swing trading strategy. TCPC is trading above $16.40 today, and I have decided to lock in a nice one-month profit and not risk an overall market and TCPC pull back.

At a $16.40 closing price the trade will result in a 7.75% gain in 27 days. Actual results of the recommendation will be based on today’s (February 17) closing price.

Recommendation: Sell TCPC today above $16.40 to close out the open position.
