How to Place a Covered Call

Covered calls are very popular options strategies, whether you are a new or veteran options trader. Placing a covered call trade is easy. All it requires is buying a stock (at least 100 shares) and selling a call (1 call for every 100 shares). Buying the shares and selling the call can be done all in one transaction.
